Welcome, friend. I’m glad you’re here. My name is Marcus; I’m just a guy decidedly imperfectly, but, nonetheless, sincerely loving God and loving people. On the side of my day job, I’m passionate about freelance writing for various publications. Writing is one of the main ways I feel called to do some good in the world. You should check out the articles I’ve published.

I believe another big part of my life’s calling is to serve on staff at Youth With A Mission in Denver, Colorado. My heart is set on taking the gospel to the most struggling and persecuted churches of the world, as well as tribes and nations least reached and unreached with the gospel. Currently, I’m a counseling major at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas and set to graduate in the Fall of 2018 with a bachelor of practical ministry degree.

Before becoming a Christian, I identified myself in so many ways that had nothing to do with who I am truly meant to be. I couldn’t recognize how deceived I was because I didn’t understand the truth about life and the universe. When I finally heard and understood truth as it is revealed in the Gospel of Jesus, I found such peace, hope, and healing. You can hear the rest of my Christian testimony by watching it on my Vimeo channel.
